Listen Up

The Reform Club's own Herb London was a guest (along with Gary Bauer) on Bill Bennett's radio show this morning.

The topic was UN reform, and Herb's circulating a letter urging Congress to withhold UN funding until substantial reforms are made. Those who wish to remain on the cutting edge will access this historic audio here. Scroll down to select the interview.

(All major conservative luminaries are being asked to sign on to the letter. I haven't been asked yet, but I'm sure it's just an oversight.)

Seeing how in October we already owed something like $1.6 billion in unpaid obligations, I have to wonder what the point is?

Maybe we should use Kelo and exercise eminent domain over the UN Building, and turn it into something useful, like a parking lot.

I signed it yesterday. Draw your own conclusions about my level of conservative celebrity.

Kidding.

I'm sorry, Connie. As even our lovely and talented Tlaloc acknowledges, nations have only "interests." What is "right" does not enter into the equation, unless it exposes them to no harm or duty.

Except for the Anglosphere. And Denmark. ;-)
